This high-voltage thick film cooling liquid heater is suitable for electric/hybrid/fuel battery vehicles and is primarily used as the main heat source for interior temperature regulation. This high-voltage, thick-film cooling liquid heater is appropriate for both driving and parking situations. During heating, the thick film heating element efficiently converts electrical energy into thermal energy, so this product heats up faster than the internal combustion engine. At the same time, it can also be used for battery temperature regulation (heating to working temperature) and fuel battery startup load.

 

This high-voltage thick-film cooling liquid heater uses thick-film heating technology to meet the high-voltage safety requirements of passenger vehicles. In addition, it can also meet the environmental requirements related to components in the engine compartment.

The application purpose of the high-voltage thick-film cooling liquid heater is to replace the engine cylinder as the main heat source. It powers the thick-film heating element, makes the thick-film heating element generate heat, and heats up the medium in the heating system's circulating pipeline through heat exchange.

The high-pressure thick film cooling liquid heater is composed of thick film heating elements, controllers, and internal pipelines. The thick film heating elements are installed in an immersion manner in an integrated cast water pipe, and the cooling liquid flows through the thick film heating elements to achieve heat absorption and circulation.

The controller circuit board is fixed inside the shell of the electrical cavity, completely isolated from the waterways, with connectors directly connected to the circuit board. 

The control unit samples the current and voltage of the high-voltage circuit by diverting and sampling resistors, respectively, to achieve abnormal operation protection.

A transient-voltage-suppression diode (TVS) is installed at the low-voltage power input, effectively preventing surge. The high-voltage side uses a high-frequency insulated transformer to provide auxiliary power. Communication information is exchanged between the high-voltage and low-voltage control units via a digital insulator. The input auxiliary power supply has partial flow-restricted protection. The temperature sensors NCT_A and NTC_B at the inlet and outlet, respectively, are used to detect the temperature of the cooling agent in real time and provide timely protection when the temperature is too high.
