PTC air heaters for new energy vehicles are core heating components specifically designed for electric vehicle air conditioning systems. Their core advantages lie in their high efficiency and safety: PTC materials have automatic temperature control characteristics; as the temperature rises, the resistance increases sharply, and the power automatically decreases, eliminating the risk of overheating and eliminating the need for additional temperature control circuitry. Common "air-cooled" heaters have a compact structure that can be integrated into the air conditioning unit, offering rapid thermal response and quickly raising the interior temperature in low-temperature environments. However, PTC heaters have relatively high energy consumption (typically 3-7kW), significantly impacting winter driving range. Therefore, some high-end models are gradually adopting heat pump systems as an alternative, but PTC remains a standard or auxiliary heating solution for mainstream models due to its low cost and rapid heating.

-It is completed by the low-voltage area MCU and related functional circuits, which can realize CAN basic communication functions, bus-based diagnostic functions, EOL functions, command issuing functions, and PTC status reading functions.
-The power interface is composed of a low-voltage area power processing circuit and an isolated power supply, and both high- and low-voltage areas are equipped with EMC-related circuits;

 

Control function
