Introduction: The Heart of NEV Air Conditioning System
Unlike traditional fuel vehicles that rely on engine belt-driven compressors, new energy vehicles (BEVs, PHEVs, REVs) lack an engine as a power source. Our Electric Air Conditioning Compressor (EACC) is engineered with a built-in permanent magnet synchronous motor, directly powered by the vehicle's high-voltage battery. Heat Pump Synergy
In heat pump air conditioning systems, it cooperates with four-way valves to switch refrigerant flow direction, transferring external environmental heat to the cabin for winter heating. Compared with PTC heating, it significantly reduces energy consumption and extends cruising range in low-temperature environments.
Working Principle
1. Power supply: The vehicle's high-voltage battery provides power, and a built-in permanent magnet synchronous motor drives the compressor's scroll/piston to compress the refrigerant.
2. Refrigeration cycle: The compressor converts a low-temperature, low-pressure gaseous refrigerant into a high-temperature, high-pressure gaseous refrigerant. This gaseous refrigerant enters a condenser, where it gives off heat and turns into a liquid. The liquid refrigerant then reduces its pressure through an expansion valve and enters the evaporator, where it absorbs heat from the vehicle interior and turns into a gas. It then returns to the compressor to complete the cycle, cooling the vehicle interior.
3. Heat pump heating cycle: By reversing the flow direction of the refrigerant through a four-way valve, the compressor transfers heat from the external environment (even at low temperatures) to the interior of the vehicle, providing efficient winter heating.
