Our Product

High-voltage electric defrosters are dedicated windshield defogging and de-icing devices for pure electric/hybrid/fuel cell buses, heavy trucks, and new energy special-purpose vehicles. They replace traditional fuel-powered vehicle engine waste water-cooled defrosters, directly drawing 300-750V DC high-voltage electricity from the vehicle's power battery to heat air. The hot air is then directed towards the windshield to achieve defrosting and defogging, while also providing auxiliary heating for the passenger compartment.

Applicable to: New energy buses, minibuses, electric trucks, airport shuttle buses, and hydrogen fuel cell buses; mainstream voltage platforms include DC 450V/540V/700V; power options range from 1.5kW to 6kW.

Internal Structure of the Unit

1. PTC Heating Assembly (Heating Core)
Composed of PTC ceramic plates + aluminum heat sink fins and insulating brackets, multiple modular series connections adapt to the vehicle's high voltage; fins increase heat exchange area, improving airflow efficiency, and power is segmented (adjustable in 1/2/3 levels).

2. High-Voltage Electrical Control Components (High-Voltage Safety Control)
High-voltage DC Contactor: Controls the opening and closing of the low-voltage coil contacts of the vehicle's VCU (Vehicle Controller Unit), realizing high-voltage power-on/off;
High-voltage Fuse: Instantaneous melting in case of short circuit or overload, cutting off the high-voltage power supply and preventing fire;
Over-temperature Fuse (Double Protection: Thermal Fuse + Temperature Control Switch): When the air outlet overheats or the fan stops and there is no airflow for cooling, the temperature controller directly cuts off the high-voltage circuit, providing double overheat protection.

3. Low-Pressure Air Supply System

DC 12V/24V brushless DC fan (80-180W), located on the PTC air inlet side, providing circulating airflow of 600-1200 m³/h; in case of fan failure and shutdown, the protection circuit will cut off the high voltage to prevent the risk of overheating due to dry burning.

4. Housing and Duct Structure

Cold-rolled steel rust-proof housing, multi-flange air outlets at the front (2-8 outlets, matching the original vehicle defrosting air duct), and rear air inlet grille; available in single-outlet and multi-outlet parallel models to adapt to different vehicle dashboard installation spaces.

5. Sampling and Vehicle Communication Components

Air outlet temperature sensor and low-voltage control board, connected to the vehicle's CAN bus, controlled by the vehicle's instrument panel/air conditioning panel for start/stop, power level, and temperature closed-loop control.
