8KW Battery Cabin Coolant Heater

The 8kW electric heater with thermostat control for new energy vehicles is a core component of an integrated thermal management system, designed for the efficient heating needs of electric vehicles in low-temperature environments. It adopts PTC (positive temperature coefficient) ceramic heating technology, with a rated power of 8kW, and has the characteristics of rapid heating, precise temperature control, energy saving, and safety. The electric heater consists of a PTC heating module, an intelligent temperature control unit, a heat dissipation structure, and a safety protection device. The PTC ceramic element has a self-limiting temperature characteristic. When the temperature exceeds the set threshold, the resistance value increases significantly, realizing automatic power adjustment and avoiding overheating risks. The thermostat adopts a PID algorithm or fuzzy control technology, monitors the temperature of the heated part in real time through the temperature sensor, and dynamically adjusts the output power (20%-100% stepless adjustment). The control accuracy can reach ±1℃, which saves more than 30% energy compared with traditional heating methods.
