In principle, the vehicle air conditioner produced by our company requires the use of city power 220V/50Hz for power supply. However, if the customer insists on using the inverter for power supply due to conditions, the following requirements should be noted:
1. The inverter must choose a power frequency pure sine wave inverter, otherwise it will cause bad failures and potential safety hazards. Severe ones will cause a fire alarm.
2. It is forbidden to use square wave or modified sine wave inverters, especially modified sine wave inverters. Many on the market are sold as pure sine wave inverters. Pay more attention to correcting the output of sine wave inverters.
3. The power of the inverter should be selected to output rated power ≥ 2000W (only for air conditioners) to ensure the normal use of air conditioners.
4. Even if it is equipped with an inverter, the circuit design should retain the direct use of the mains channel. Whenever there is a chance, it is recommended to directly use the mains for power supply. If you use the battery inverter for power supply every time, it will speed up Battery ageing speed. It is also not possible to use an inverter to supply power to the air conditioner while charging.
5. The wire diameter used on the 220V/50Hz line should be ≥2.5mm2, so as not to cause the line voltage drop, which may cause the line heating and voltage shortage problems (voltage lower than 200VAC will cause the compressor to fail to start).
6. The partitions separating the battery pack and the air conditioner must use fireproof materials.
