New Energy Cooling System
①Electric vehicles also need coolant. The battery charges and discharges to generate heat, which needs to be cooled. When the temperature is low, the battery needs to be heated to ensure battery performance. In addition, motors, motor controllers, and DC/DC work generate heat, which also requires coolant cooling.
② Pure electric vehicles do not have an engine cooling system, so for the heating function, only the auxiliary heating method can be used. It feels similar to the principle of boiling water and hair dryer, but the heating method is slightly different. .
③ As the power source of the vehicle, the new energy vehicle power battery will always generate heat from charging and discharging. The performance of the power battery is closely related to the battery temperature. In order to prolong the service life of the power battery as much as possible and obtain the maximum power, it is necessary to use the battery within the specified temperature range. In principle, the power is within the range of -40°C to +55°C (actual battery temperature).
④ The cooling system is composed of water tank, fan, water pump, temperature regulating valve (thermostat), compensation kettle, engine cylinder block and water jacket in the cylinder head, etc. (some cars also have water temperature sensing plugs)! There are two kinds of working principles: large circulation and small circulation.
