This electric water pump uses a brushless DC motor-driven adjustable-speed impeller. The controller drives the brushless motor.

 

This electric water pump can be used in automotive engine main cooling systems, auxiliary cooling systems, battery pack cooling systems, and energy storage devices. It powers the delivery of coolant to various heat dissipation components, maximizing the efficiency of various thermal control systems and ensuring stable operation.

 

The pump's operating status can be adjusted via PWM speed control. In addition to its basic functions, the pump also features corresponding protection functions.

This series of electric water pumps uses a brushless motor-driven tank motor. Its main components are as follows:

 

Brushless DC motor, including rotor assembly (including impeller and bearing cover) and housing/stator assembly (including shaft sleeve).

 

Controller (PCB assembly), used to communicate with the main control unit and control the brushless DC motor.

 

Pump housing, for connecting to the vehicle, engine, and cooling system.

 

Brushless motor rear cover, including connectors, for connecting to the vehicle.

 

 

 

 

Recommended installation angle

 

a) After installation, maintain the angle between the centerline of the water inlet and the horizontal plane between 0° and +90°, as shown in the figure below.

b) After installation, keep the angle between the center line of the outlet and the horizontal between 5° and +90°, as shown in the figure below.

 Reverse Polarity Protection

 

Within the normal operating voltage range, if the power supply polarity is reversed, the water pump will stop operating and will not output any feedback signal, but it will not be damaged. After correctly connecting the power supply, the water pump will resume normal operation.

 

Overvoltage Protection

 

If the power supply voltage exceeds 33V (±0.5V) for 0.5 seconds, the water pump will stop operating and issue a fault signal. If the voltage is below 32V (±0.5V) for 1 second, the water pump will restart.

 

Undervoltage Protection

 

If the power supply voltage is below 17V (±0.5V) for 0.5 seconds, the water pump will stop operating and issue a fault signal. If the voltage is above 18V (±0.5V) for 1 second, the water pump will restart.
