Core Working Principle
The water-electric defroster integrates the vehicle's coolant circulation system and electric heating system: Water Heating Mode (Primary/Auxiliary Heating): Utilizes the vehicle's coolant (engine waste heat or PTC-heated hot water) flowing through the defroster's heat exchange core, and blows hot air onto the windshield via a blower. Electric Heating Mode (Rapid/Instant Heating): Through the built-in PTC (Positive Temperature Coefficient) electric heating module, heat is rapidly generated using high-voltage electricity when the vehicle is first started and the coolant temperature has not yet risen, ensuring that the defroster can immediately blow out warm air.

Working Principle

This device generates hot air through the coordinated operation of two heat sources, which is then blown towards the glass or interior by a fan:
Water Heating Component (Liquid):
Utilizes the waste heat from the circulating coolant in the car engine. The high-temperature coolant flows through the internal liquid radiator, and the cool air blown by the fan absorbs the heat from the water, becoming hot air.
Electric Heating Component (Electric):
Features a built-in PTC electric heating element. During initial vehicle startup, when the water temperature is low, or in extremely cold environments, the PTC quickly generates heat, exchanging heat with the air through its fins to compensate for the insufficient heat from the water heating system.
Coordinated Operation Mode:
The two heat sources can automatically switch or operate simultaneously based on the water temperature. Once the target water temperature is reached, the electric heating can reduce its power or be turned off to save energy.
Products installation


The defroster should be installed as close as possible to the dashboard. The cross-sectional area of the exhaust duct should not be smaller than the exhaust outlet area of the defroster. Avoid excessive bends, as this will increase airflow resistance and affect defrosting efficiency.
When installing the radiator or defroster, all joints should be sealed and tightened. Foreign objects should be prevented from entering the piping, and there should be no sharp bends.
Openings should be made according to the dimensions in the drawings or the actual dimensions. Air inlets and outlets should be unobstructed to ensure unobstructed airflow.
