The DCS series high-pressure defroster is a device designed to defrost vehicle windshields. The high-voltage electric defroster uses heat generated by a PTC heating element, pressurized by the defroster blower. It blows it through the defroster pipe onto the windshield, thereby defrosting the windshield.

Products installation

1. The defroster should be installed as close to the instrument panel as possible. The cross-sectional area of the air outlet duct should not be smaller than the defroster outlet area. Avoid excessive bends to prevent increased airflow resistance and impaired defrosting performance.
2. When installing the radiator or defroster, ensure that all joints are tightly sealed. Prevent foreign objects from entering the piping and avoid dead bends.
3. Drill holes according to the dimensions shown in the drawing or the actual product. Ensure that the air inlet and outlet are unobstructed and that there are no obstructions.
4. Maintenance before winter use.
- Check the product's high and low voltage circuits for loose connections, short circuits, or open circuits, and for normal voltage.
- Check the reliability of all fasteners and connections, and inspect the defroster for mechanical damage.
- Check the air inlet and outlet for patency.
- Check and clean dust inside the unit using high-pressure air.
5. Maintenance during use.
- Check the over-temperature fuse monthly for proper operation. - Check the air inlet regularly to see if it is unobstructed.
