This electronic water pump is a speed-adjustable pump with a brushless DC motor driving the impeller. The brushless motor is driven by a controller.

This electronic water pump can be used in automotive engine main cooling systems, auxiliary cooling systems, battery pack cooling systems, and energy storage devices. It provides energy for coolant flow to various heat dissipation points, enabling various thermal control systems to function optimally and ensuring stable operation.

This series of electronic water pumps is a brushless motor-driven canned pump. The main components are as follows:

A DC brushless motor including a rotor assembly (including an impeller assembly) and a stator housing (including a shielding sleeve and rear bearing housing assembly);

A controller (PCB assembly) for communicating with the main control unit and controlling the DC brushless motor;

A pump cover for connection to the vehicle, engine, and cooling system;

A brushless motor rear cover including a wiring assembly for connecting to the vehicle.

 

 

Installation Precautions

 

1. Install the pump away from high-temperature areas.

2. Antifreeze should meet national standards.

3. Minimize the use of bends in the piping layout.

4. Do not operate the pump for extended periods without a circulating medium.

5. Metal filings are not allowed in the piping.

6. Avoid fixing the water pump directly to the engine.

7. The distance between the water inlet and the water pump should not exceed 500mm.

8. Ensure the water pump bracket is securely fixed.

 

 

 

The controller and the electric water pump can communicate via CAN. Under normal operating conditions, the controller outputs different message signals to control the water pump's operating status and speed. Simultaneously, the water pump has self-diagnostic and protection functions. When the water pump is under abnormal operating conditions, such as overvoltage, undervoltage, stall, dry running, overcurrent, or overtemperature, the pump will execute its own protection strategy and provide feedback via the CAN signal line.
