It integrates the motor, pump body, impeller, and controller into a single unit, allowing for independent speed regulation and start-stop control-eliminating reliance on engine speed-while flow rate and rotational speed are managed by the vehicle's ECU. Characterized by low power consumption, high controllability, high reliability, and resistance to extreme temperatures, it is designed for the harsh operating conditions of heavy-duty commercial vehicles; it is widely used in hybrid and all-electric commercial vehicles and can also serve as an auxiliary cooling component for traditional internal combustion engine commercial vehicles.

 

 

 

Based on temperature signals from the battery, motor, and electronic control unit, the vehicle control unit sends control signals to the drive controller integrated within the electronic water pump. This controller drives the DC motor to rotate, spinning the impeller inside the pump chamber at high speed; the impeller agitates the coolant to generate centrifugal force, driving the coolant to circulate through the cooling lines and transport heat from the source to the radiator for dissipation.

Key advantage: It can reduce rotational speed-or even stop completely-at lower temperatures to save energy. As temperatures rise, it automatically increases speed and coolant flow to achieve precise temperature control, unlike mechanical water pumps that operate at a speed fixed to the engine's RPM.

 

 

 Battery-electric commercial vehicles (including electric trucks, buses, and sanitation vehicles): Applications include battery thermal management system (BTMS) circulation loops for power batteries, as well as cooling circuits for motor controllers and drive motors.

 

 Hybrid commercial vehicles (such as hybrid heavy-duty trucks and buses): systems designed to simultaneously handle auxiliary engine cooling, battery cooling, and heat dissipation for electronic control units.
