This high-pressure coolant heater (also known as a PTC water heater for new energy vehicles) is a core thermal management component designed specifically for pure electric, hybrid, and fuel cell vehicles. It uses a high-voltage electrically driven PTC (positive temperature coefficient) heating element to heat the vehicle's coolant, replacing the waste heat from the engine in traditional gasoline vehicles. It provides two core functions: cabin heating and battery pack preheating/temperature control, making it a crucial component for ensuring the range and driving comfort of new energy vehicles in winter.

Soft start function: PWM Soft Start
PWM from 0% to 100% takes 30 seconds. This function is used to protect high impulse current and sudden changes on high voltage buses. Each path is gradually soft starts, the soft start process has a ripple current, impact current small (<1.3 times the rated current).
