Selection of installation location
In order to reasonably control the environment inside the car, the machine must be concealed in the middle of the car as much as possible.
Select the installation location of the machine to ensure that it is convenient for later maintenance and repair.
Put the installation positioning paper into the reserved installation compartment, and check the reserved opening space on the floor (if any) or make holes according to the installation positioning paper.
In order to minimize the noise and vibration when the machine is running, please keep the machine at least 30mm away from the surrounding partitions.
The machine must be installed on the floor. To make it easier to replace the filter, keep a distance of 200mm between the front of the air conditioner and the partition.
If the machine is installed outside the passenger compartment, the air to be treated must be taken from the passenger compartment.
Inhalation of outside air reduces the capacity of the entire system.
Preparing for drilling and securing the machine
The opening part should not be splashed by the water carried by the tire, and an object such as a water baffle can be used as necessary protection. Pay attention to the distance between the machine and the adjacent wall at least 30mm, use the provided kit to fix the machine.
The machine must be installed horizontally and the maximum tilt angle cannot exceed 10°. Before opening the hole, check whether there are hidden wires, gas pipes, chassis main beams and other components in the corresponding position, and seal the hole where the machine is installed with waterproof material.
Infrared remote control installation
The accessory box on the top of the fuselage contains accessories such as remote control, battery, etc. In the accessory bag, there are accessories such as wired controller, bracket and extension cable. To install the wire controller, you need to reserve 20mm holes for routing (see Figure 2). Use two wood screws to fix the remote control bracket. After connecting the wires of the remote control, put the remote control into the bracket.
Duct arrangement
Use air ducts to arrange ventilation ducts (air ducts are optional). It is recommended to use hard paper, with aluminum cores, and PVC outer layers. The inner diameter is about 60mm and the outer diameter is 64mm.
Gently twist the air duct and insert it into the round air outlet on the machine. You can choose a row (3) of air outlets on the front of the evaporator of the machine, or you can choose a row (3) of air outlets on the side of the machine.
In order to achieve the best use effect of this air conditioner, the following points are recommended:
-- The air duct should be as short and straight as possible,
-- A single air duct should preferably not exceed 5m,
-- Do not place the air duct close to the heat source.
The indoor return air should pass through the cross-section grille that can meet the air volume of at least 300cm2. The air return vent of the air conditioner must be near the machine. If it cannot be satisfied, make sure that the return air flow is smooth and not blocked by any objects (if necessary, an air duct can be made between the opening and the return air vent in the machine room.) Indoor return air must be taken from the passenger compartment. Taking air from outside will reduce the efficiency of the air conditioner.
