1.Electric Drive System (Heat Source)

 

The electric motor and inverter in the drive system generate significant waste heat during operation. This heat is captured by the thermal management system.


2.Integrated Thermal Control Unit (Central Hub)

 

This unit serves as the system's core, managing both heating and cooling functions:

 

Heating Mode: When the battery pack is too cold (e.g., in low-temperature environments), the system redirects waste heat from the drive system (or activates dedicated heating elements) to warm the battery pack, ensuring efficient charging and discharging.

Cooling Mode: When the battery pack overheats (e.g., during high-load operation or fast charging), the system transfers excess heat from the battery pack to the radiator.


3.Battery Pack (Controlled Component)

 

The battery pack is the primary thermal load. It requires precise temperature regulation:
