Introduction To New Energy Vehicle Air Conditioner Knowledge

 

1. Car air conditioning compressors are divided into three categories:

(1) Type of traditional engine drive


(2) Hybrid types driven by engines and electric motors, hybrid vehicle air-conditioning compressors. For automobile manufacturers who need to improve the efficiency of existing internal combustion engines and achieve miniaturization, they provide compressors driven by traditional engine belts. Vehicles with engines as the main body and electric motors as the supplement (Mi1dHEV weak hybrid) are supplied with hybrid compressors that take into account both belt drive and electric motor drive.


(3) Types that simply use variable frequency motors to drive. For vehicles with electric motors as the main body (strong-HEV, EV electric), electric compressors are provided as refrigeration methods for electric vehicle air conditioners.

 

2. Composition of electric refrigeration system of automobile air conditioner

It is mainly composed of the hybrid compressor condenser, liquid storage dryer, expansion valve, evaporation box and control circuit of a pure electric or hybrid vehicle.

 

Low-pressure pipeline: from the throttle valve outlet to the compressor inlet, there are evaporation boxes, low-pressure filling ports, and accumulators along the way.

 

High-pressure pipeline: from the compressor outlet to the throttle valve inlet, there are compressors, condensers, dryers, high-pressure filling ports, high and low pressure switches, and throttle valves along the way.

 

3. Composition of electric refrigeration system of automobile air conditioner

(1)Compressor
The low-temperature, low-pressure gaseous refrigerant is sucked in and compressed into high-temperature, high-pressure liquid refrigerant to create a temperature difference with the outside air.

 

(2)Condenser
The heat of the high-temperature and high-pressure refrigerant is dissipated to the surrounding air through a special fan for the condenser or an engine radiator fan, and the refrigerant is cooled down.

 

(3) Dryer
Used to remove moisture from refrigerant

 

(4)High pressure filling port
Used for adding refrigerant or vacuuming pipelines

 

(5) Throttle valve (expansion valve)
That is, a small hole with a variable or fixed cross-section throttles and atomizes the high-pressure refrigerant, and absorbs the heat of the air in the car through the evaporation box. Under the action of the blower, the evaporation box absorbs the heat in the car and turns it into a low-temperature, low-pressure gaseous state, which accumulates The refrigerant is used to store the refrigerant to prevent the liquid coming out of the evaporation box from being in a gaseous state and hitting the compressor. The low-pressure filling port is used to add refrigerant or vacuum the pipeline.
