The electric compressor is powered by a battery, and the controller controls the motor speed, thereby controlling the cooling capacity and adjusting the temperature. The high efficiency and high speed tolerance of the scroll compressor determine that it is suitable for use with a high-speed motor, and the speed of the motor is adjusted by the electronic control unit to improve the energy efficiency of the air conditioning system.

Passenger car air-conditioning compressors mainly include swash plate type, scroll type and rotary vane type. The swash plate compressor is the leading product of the reciprocating compressor. It has been developed for many years, and the technology is relatively mature. It is mainly used in large-displacement passenger cars and has high energy consumption.
The scroll compressor has no reciprocating motion, and has relatively high efficiency, low noise, and stable operation. Compared with the variable-displacement swash-plate compressor, the cost is lower, and it is more suitable for small-displacement vehicles.
The rotary vane compressor is small in volume and weight, and is easy to arrange in a narrow engine compartment, and is suitable for miniature vehicles.
