The new energy air conditioner uses electric power to drive the air conditioner compressor, which is driven by a high-voltage motor instead of the engine belt to drive the compressor to work. In terms of the form of warm air, new energy vehicles do not have a heat source for the cooling fluid above 70°C generated by the internal combustion engine, but use electric heating to generate warm air.
PTC heater is a positive temperature coefficient thermistor, which is the main source of heat source. The biggest advantage of PTC is fast heating speed, high and controllable temperature, easy to use, and installed inside the warm air evaporation box assembly. The air conditioner compressor is a three-phase permanent magnet synchronous DC motor. The inverter converts the DC power provided by the battery into AC power, supplies power to the three-phase permanent magnet synchronous motor, and drives the car air conditioner compressor to work.
There are two ways of electric heating: one is to heat the coolant similar to traditional air conditioning and heating systems through high pressure, and then provide heat for the heating water tank through circulation. The other is to directly drive the PTC heater through high-voltage electricity to heat the air passing through the evaporation box to achieve warm air.
Its system is composed of air conditioner compressor, air conditioner drive motor, air conditioner duct assembly, air conditioner pipeline assembly, condenser, air conditioner control panel and related sensors.
The air conditioner controller receives signals from various sensors, such as temperature sensors, panel control switch signals, etc., and calculates through the main control ECU to control the drive motor of the air conditioner, thereby controlling the operation of the air conditioner compressor and PTC heater to control the air outlet mode. The air-conditioning and heating system of new energy vehicles is different from the heating method of traditional vehicles. The air-conditioning and heating system of new energy vehicles includes air-conditioning ECU, sunlight sensor, temperature sensor inside and outside the car, speed sensor, control switch signal, air-conditioning power supply, and DC-DC converter , Drive motor, PTC heating element, etc.
