PTC Coolant Heater for Hydrogen Fuel Cell TMS

 

 

This high-performance PTC Coolant Heater is specially developed for hybrid and fuel cell vehicles, acting as the core heat source for cabin temperature control. It operates stably in both driving and parking conditions.

 

During operation, PTC heating elements efficiently convert electric energy into thermal energy, delivering far faster heating response than traditional engine heating systems. Besides, it supports battery thermal management by preheating batteries to their optimal working temperature, and undertakes heating loads for fuel cell start-up.

 

Adopting advanced PTC heating technology, this heater fully complies with passenger vehicle high-voltage safety regulations and meets strict environmental durability requirements for engine compartment components.

 

It is designed to replace the traditional engine waste heat and serve as an independent heating source. Powered by high-voltage electricity, the PTC heating assembly generates continuous heat and warms the circulating medium of the thermal management system through heat exchange.

The electronic water pump circulates coolant from the tank through the system. In cold conditions, the PTC coolant heater warms the coolant to preheat the stack and CAC. During operation, coolant absorbs heat from the stack and CAC. The thermostat directs hot coolant to the radiator for cooling when needed. The deionizer continuously purifies the coolant to maintain high resistivity. Coolant returns to the tank to repeat the cycle.
