Maintenance and precautions of electronic water pump
1.Repair and maintenance
Check whether the connection between the water pump and the pipeline is tight. If it is loose, use a clamp wrench to tighten the clamp.
Check whether the screws at the pump body and the motor flange are fastened, if they are loose, use a cross screwdriver to fasten them.
Check the fixation between the water pump and the car body, if it is loose, tighten it with a wrench.
Check that the terminals inside the connector are making good contact.
Regularly clean the dust and dirt on the outer surface of the water pump to ensure the normal heat dissipation of the body.
2.Precautions
The water pump must be installed horizontally along the axis, and the installation position should be as far away from the high temperature area as possible. It should be installed in a location with low temperature or good air flow, and as close to the cooling water tank as possible, so as to reduce the water inlet resistance of the pump.
The pump is not allowed to run continuously when the outlet valve is closed, causing the medium to vaporize inside the pump body. When stopping the operation of the pump, pay attention to the operation that the inlet valve must not be closed first and then stop the pump，which will cause a sudden stop of fluid in the pump.
It is strictly forbidden to use the pump for a long time when there is no liquid in the pump; no liquid lubrication will cause the parts in the pump to lack lubricating medium, aggravate the wear and reduce the service life of the pump.
When arranging the cooling pipeline, use as few elbows as possible (it is strictly forbidden to use elbows less than 90° at the water outlet) to reduce the resistance of the pipeline and ensure the smooth flow of the pipeline.
When the water pump is used for the first time and used again after maintenance, it must be fully exhausted so that the water pump and the suction line are filled with cooling liquid.
It is strictly forbidden to use liquid with impurities and magnetic conductive particles larger than 0.35mm, otherwise the water pump will be stuck, worn and damaged.
When using in a low temperature environment, please make sure that the antifreeze will not freeze or become very viscous.
If there are water stains on the pins of the connector, please clean the water stains before use.
When not in use for a long time, cover the dust cover to prevent dust from entering the water inlet and outlet.
Please confirm the connection is correct before powering on, otherwise it may cause malfunction.
The cooling medium should meet the requirements of national standards.
