New energy vehicle refrigeration system structure and
electronic water pump application principle
The refrigeration system of new energy vehicles is to keep batteries, electric motors and other key components working within a suitable temperature range to improve vehicle performance and life. In this system, the electronic water pump plays a key role. The following is the structure of the refrigeration system and the application principle of the electronic water pump.
Refrigeration system structure:
1. Compressor and condenser:
Compressor: Inhales low-temperature and low-pressure steam and pressurizes it into high-temperature and high-pressure gas.
Condenser: Dissipates heat from high-temperature and high-pressure gas to the external environment through heat dissipation, cooling the gas into high-pressure liquid.
2. Expansion valve:
Control the speed at which high-pressure liquid flows into the evaporator so that it expands when entering the evaporator to form low-temperature and low-pressure steam.
3. Evaporator:
The low-temperature and low-pressure liquid absorbs the heat released by components such as batteries and motors through heat absorption, and evaporates it into low-temperature and low-pressure steam.
4. Electronic water pump:
It is used to circulate the coolant and bring the heat absorbed in the evaporator to the condenser to form a cycle.
Application principle of electronic water pump:
1. Water pump function:
The electronic water pump is responsible for pumping the coolant (usually coolant) from the evaporator, passing through heat source components such as batteries and electric motors, and bringing the absorbed heat to the condenser to complete the refrigeration cycle.
2. Advantages of electronic water pump:
Compared with traditional mechanical water pumps, electronic water pumps are more flexible and can achieve stepless speed adjustment according to system needs, improving the efficiency of the refrigeration system.
Due to the better controllability of the electronic water pump, the coolant flow can be dynamically adjusted according to the vehicle's operating status, thereby more effectively controlling the temperature of the battery and motor.
3. Electronic control system:
Electronic water pumps are usually controlled by an electronic control system, which adjusts the speed of the water pump and the flow rate of the coolant based on the temperature and other parameters measured by the sensor.
This intelligent control method enables the electronic water pump to respond more accurately to the working status of the system and improves the efficiency of the entire refrigeration system.
4. Energy saving and environmental protection:
The controllability of the electronic water pump makes the entire refrigeration system more energy efficient, which not only improves energy utilization but also reduces energy waste.
Since the working state of the water pump can be adjusted according to actual needs, the electronic water pump can reduce power consumption when the vehicle is stopped or under low load, further improving the overall energy efficiency of new energy vehicles.
In new energy vehicles, the efficient operation of the refrigeration system is crucial to ensure the performance of the battery and motor. The intelligent control and adjustable speed features of the electronic water pump make the refrigeration system more flexible and improve the energy efficiency and stability of the entire vehicle.
