Soft Start
PTC was divided into 3 groups, the power distribution was 5/10,3/10,2/10.
PWM soft start mode, group soft start, each group in turn start, stagger the peak of the impact current. The internal 3 groups IGBT, each group delay time is 8-10 seconds, 30 seconds to complete the soft start.
Power and temperature control
After soft start, according to the requirements of the gear, power adjustment; to achieve the set temperature, automatic power adjustment, temperature control.
Generally the default is gear mode, in gear mode, can be divided into 20% , 30% , 50% , 70% , 80% , 100% six gears. If the PWM mode is used, the power regulation is stepless. Note: Use PWM mode must be confirmed in advance.
High voltage interlock
The passive interlock loop can effectively monitor the connection of high voltage connectors. The interlock loop is a simple bridge. Depending on the manufacturer's design, the loop can be implemented inside a high-voltage or low-voltage connector.

Boot check
Only high voltages operate without limiting heater performance.
After the heater is turned on or reset, the heater waits for the power request on the CAN bus. Once the valid power request is received, the boot check is started.
First, the total current is checked in all the heater circuits that are not active. If the total current exceeds a predetermined value, the heater is not working at this time, so this fault indicates a short-circuit, leakage current, or open-circuit fault.
