The EHP series thermal management units have advantages such as high efficiency, safety, environmental protection, CAN 2.0 communication, and fault self-diagnosis. They can realize three functional modes: cooling, heating (optional), and self-circulation.

 

The EHP series thermal management unit is a cooling system used to cool the battery packs of new energy vehicles.

 

During vehicle operation or charging, the battery pack temperature rises due to ambient temperature or the battery pack's own charging and discharging characteristics, causing the battery to lose its optimal operating environment. This product is designed for water-cooled battery packs. By controlling the water temperature, it ensures the battery pack operates within a specific temperature range, thereby guaranteeing battery quality, extending its lifespan, and ensuring the vehicle's driving range.

 

Compared to traditional cooling methods, this product features rapid heat dissipation, high efficiency, stable temperature control, significantly improved battery performance, and extended lifespan.

The schematic diagram of the EHP battery thermal management system is shown in Figure1-1. Red represents the cooling cycle, and blue represents the coolant cycle. The unit has three modes: cooling mode, heating mode (optional), and self-circulation mode. The unit switches between these three modes based on parameters fed back from the battery pack BMS.

• Before operating the unit, check that the water pipes are secure to prevent antifreeze splashing due to pressure buildup after operation.

• Before operating the unit, check that all electrical components and connectors are installed in the correct positions and are not loose.
