BTMS ensures the driving range and safety of electric trucks
The BTMS (Battery Thermal Management System) is essentially a "dedicated temperature control manager" for the power batteries of electric trucks, and a core system ensuring stable vehicle range and driving safety. Electric trucks experience heavy loads and complex operating conditions, with high battery charging and discharging intensities. Excessively high or low temperatures directly impact user experience and driving safety, and BTMS is a key feature specifically designed to address these issues.

Regarding range assurance, batteries are particularly sensitive to temperature. In low-temperature winter environments, battery activity decreases significantly, easily leading to reduced range and charging difficulties. BTMS automatically activates its heating function to maintain the battery temperature within its optimal operating range. In high-temperature summer driving or heavy-load fast charging, the system cools the battery through heat dissipation, preventing performance degradation due to overheating, effectively reducing issues like incomplete charging and reduced range, resulting in more stable and reliable truck range.
In terms of safety protection, BTMS plays an indispensable role. It monitors the temperature and voltage of each cell in real time, 24/7, precisely controlling the heat dissipation and heating rhythm to maintain a balanced temperature across the entire battery pack. It eliminates safety hazards such as battery overheating, thermal runaway, bulging, and fire, while also slowing down battery aging and extending battery life. For electric trucks that operate under high frequency and harsh conditions, BTMS not only stabilizes range economy but also strengthens overall vehicle safety.
