The core of the unit consists of a stationary scroll, an orbiting scroll, and an integrated drive motor. The orbiting scroll performs an eccentric orbital motion, meshing with the stationary scroll to form continuously varying, crescent-shaped sealed chambers; air is drawn in from the periphery, compressed in stages as the chamber volume decreases, and discharged through the central outlet. The entire compression process is lubricant-free, ensuring a truly oil-free air supply.
